Drink Advertisement

"It's in Mikael Forssell. Is it in you?
Rehydrate, Replenish, Refuel"
This is Gatorade ad, a sports drink that is well known all around the world. It is showing a well known soccer player scoring a goal during what seems to be an important game because it's in a stadium. The ad shows that Mikael Forssell is "hydrated and fueled" that is why he was able to score the goal and with great power. It also shows that when you have Gatorade in you then you can step up to the moment (an important one) and accomplish something important, as Mikael Forssall did by making the penalty. The ad makes claims that if you drink Gatorade you will be replenished and with great power to make your objective reality in sports or exercise as this soccer player has. Since he drinks Gatorade he is the only one in the pitch with full color or "full potential" which is what they are trying to get across. All the others are plain, shown in the ad by what seems to be water. I think it is trying to say that not just water does the job, and that is why you need Gatorade. Players with the clear liquid form represents the athletes who drank water, and tries to show how this wasn't effective enough to get them to top shape like Forssell who drank Gatorade. This ad is targeted towards athletes especially soccer players since there is famous soccer player scoring a goal. It's appealing towards athletes because athletes need to be rehydrated, and refueled and this shows an athlete being in top form by kicking the goal and even placing the soccer player above the ground as if they hit the ball with great potential makes the drink seem more effective. This could also be targeted towards soccer, sports, and Forssell fans. If people see that their favorite soccer player drinking Gatorade then they also might try it.
